Automobiles in German Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Law Enforcement State

Approximately fifty cars have been marked with what seems to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and mailboxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Police say they were alerted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a individual noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish substance.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a banned symbol, they added.

Police then found numerous other marked cars and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations outlawing the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police state early analysis indicate the liquid was most likely human blood.

"Currently there is no clue as to its origin; officials are not yet informed of any physical harm in association with the incident," they added.

City officials announced they were working "to resolve the mystery" and have asked to the residents for details.

An important official commented the incident left him speechless and required to be resolved promptly.

"This act hits the very heart of Hanau and reopens the pain of the far-right terrorist attack half a decade ago," he stated on online, recalling the death of nine people by a gunman targeting residents of foreign heritage in 2020.
